Meet Michael

When I was in my 20s and living in my adopted country Australia, I dreamt of living and working in North America or Europe. That dream drove my decision to become an accountant and work for an international accounting firm. A job offer from a local accounting firm was declined because it was not aligned to my dream. Not only did I get to work in Canada, but I also worked in London and was offered a job in London which was beyond my dreams.

Walking 20 minutes to work in the City of London from our apartment in a converted spice warehouse, where you could smell the spices when it rained, across the picturesque Tower Bridge, past the foreboding Tower of London to 20 Fenchurch Street (now the Walkie Talkie) and being amongst all that history, was surreal. The work was interesting, challenging and the people wonderful.

The Universe delivered beyond my expectations.

The years after were not much to write about, or so I then thought. I recall them as the lost years, until the birth of my beautiful daughter. New challenges, new responsibilities, and less appetite for risk, until the fire inside returned. When the fire returned, when new dreams were born, when the Universe called, it was time to pay attention and make changes. The Universe showed me I was on my path again through Synchronicity, that wonderful feeling of flow, of joy in the challenges, the experience of the journey.

The pattern was now clear, find a burning desire, work on your internal self, bust the paradigms and change your mindset to change your life.

As I told my story to the people I mentored and coached, formally and informally, and in general conversations, I was encouraged to keep researching and applying the knowledge. The more I found out, the more I realised there was so much more to learn. More to learn about me and these magical insights. And why were these insights, many well-articulated in the 1920s to 1950s, not taught at school? Wouldn’t we all be better off living our dreams and not slave to someone else’s dream?

In 2019 during a conversation about these powerful insights, one of the team at Think180 suggested I capture these learnings and insights in a book and that encouragement did not stop. Authoring a book was a big step for me and in 2022 it was time to leave my beloved business, which I co-founded 14 years earlier with three incredible guys, to work out the next step. To listen to my Inner and Higher Self.

And that was how the Framework was born in 2023.

At 63, a whole new adventure begins.
